Used 2021 Toyota Corolla 1.8L Hybrid

The 2021 Corolla Hybrid went on sale in China in July 2020 in Pioneer, Elite and Flagship trims. All three use the 1.8 L 8ZR-FXE engine and 53 kW motor with a nickel-metal-hydride battery — 90 kW combined through an E-CVT — and are rated at 4.1 L/100 km NEDC. The Elite, the most common trim on the used market, has a 9-inch touchscreen, power sunroof, front keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, six speakers and 16-inch wheels. By 2026 most 2021 hybrids are around five years old, which keeps them inside age limits such as Ghana’s 10-year rule and Kenya’s 8-year rule while costing noticeably less than a 2023 car.
